Master Chess

STEM Genius® Engineering Design Studios

Service Description

Isn't chess just a game? Well, yes and no. Chess is a game and it is also STEM because of it's relationship to mathematics, abstract reasoning, strategy and calculated movement. It encourages children to have that efficiency of thought. Research says chess improves scores in every subject because of the critical thinking and the strategic thinking. Our seven areas of practice: Focusing, visualizing, thinking ahead, weighing options, analyzing, thinking abstractly, and planning.
